Promotion of Scouting

The scheme of Promotion of Scouting and Guiding shall be evaluated once in every five years by an external independent agency. The recommended actions of the executive summary of the evaluation report shall be sent to the Bharat Scouts and Guides for special consideration and implementation subsequently.

  • Importance

    Scouting helps youth develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that influence their adult lives. Try new things. Provide service to others. Build self-confidence.

    The four Pillars, a Scout / Guide should climb and get themselves ready to serve the nation.
